OUR COMMITMENT TO

Responsible Sourcing

From the initial design of a garment to when it arrives on your doorstep, we’re committed to helping women thrive and providing excellence in all that we do. These high standards extend to our legal, ethical, and responsible conduct in all our operations.

Most of our garments are produced in Southeast Asia. While our manufacturing partners operate in regions with political, legal, and cultural environments different from the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom, our standards do not shift. We partner only with factories, subcontractors, suppliers, and agents who meet — and continuously work to exceed — our expectations.

Certified. Verified. Accountable.

Every cabi vendor partner must hold recognized third-party social compliance certification before onboarding. These certifications are monitored annually and are a non-negotiable requirement of doing business with us.

We recognize certification from globally respected organizations, including:

  • Better Work
  • Higg SLCP
  • Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI)
  • Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP)
  • SA8000

These independent certifications ensure rigorous standards for labor practices, workplace safety, and operational integrity.

Beginning this year, we are strengthening our oversight even further. In partnership with our quality control team, we are implementing third-party social compliance audits conducted on our behalf within our factories — adding another layer of transparency and continuous improvement across our supply chain.

Our Code of Conduct

Transparency is foundational to trust.

All cabi suppliers must acknowledge and implement our Vendor Code of Conduct at every level of their organization. Complete and accurate documentation is required, and suppliers must provide full access to facilities, records, and workers. Coaching employees on audit responses is strictly prohibited.

When gaps are identified, corrective action plans are required — and progress is monitored. Suppliers unwilling or unable to meet our standards may have their relationship with cabi terminated.

Environmental Responsibility

We believe responsible production includes environmental stewardship.

Across our supply base — particularly throughout Asia, where environmental regulations continue to advance — many of our partners have adopted progressive sustainability practices, including:

  • Cleaner production methods
  • Reduced water usage
  • Energy efficiency and carbon reduction initiatives
  • Air emissions control systems
  • Waste reduction programs

We have visited mills and factories operating with solar panels, water treatment and recycling systems, biomass energy sources, and other technologies designed to reduce environmental impact. These investments reflect a shared commitment to smarter, lower-impact production.

All cabi suppliers must comply with applicable environmental laws and are expected to pursue ongoing improvements in sustainability performance.

Our Standards for Workers

We believe dignity at work is non-negotiable.

Legal Working Age
Workers must meet the highest applicable minimum age requirement, and no worker under 18 may perform hazardous work.

No Forced Labor
All employment must be voluntary and free from coercion, violence, document retention, or trafficking.

No Discrimination
Employment practices must be free from discrimination of any kind.

Respect & Dignity
Harassment, abuse, and corporal punishment are strictly prohibited.

Fair Wages & Lawful Hours
Workers must be compensated in accordance with applicable laws and industry standards, with overtime paid at legally required premium rates. Working hours must not exceed legal limits.

Freedom of Communication
Suppliers must respect workers’ rights to association and collective dialogue — or provide open alternative communication channels where legal restrictions apply.

Health & Safety
Facilities must provide clean, safe, and healthy working and living environments in full compliance with applicable regulations.
