travel tips from cabi’s style director

December 10, 2015

Places to go, people to see. Whether you are traveling for business or pleasure, it’s always nice to have tips and tricks to make the experience as carefree as possible. This is especially true if you are traveling during the hectic holiday season, when a travel-timesaver can save you a major travel-headache.

Cabi’s Style Director, Becky, has logged thousands of miles traveling for photoshoots and styling assignments. When she’s not busy globetrotting, she’s happy to dish about her favorite tips and tricks. Take note and make your next trip a breeze.

Use your straightening iron on collars of your shirts that got tweaked while traveling.

Hang wrinkled clothes in the bathroom, while you shower, to steam out the wrinkles.

When I meet new people while traveling, I take a photo of their business card. That way I don’t have to worry about losing the card.

Tie a brightly colored ribbon around your bag—I have taken the wrong suitcase to a hotel before and it causes a LOT of problems!

Save old prescription bottles (minus the wrappers!) for Q-tips, bobby pins, and hair ties.
