Sure, we could go on and on about our favorite summer trends—from bold prints and strappy sandals to wide brim hats and maxi dresses, summertime is a great time to indulge in your style. But all things fashion aside, summer offers many other reasons to get excited. Swimming, camping, hiking, and, oh yeah…ice cream!
In preparation for the launch of this warm, sunny season, we reached out to our cabi Account Managers, known as CAMs around the cabi Home Office, to find out what they love about summer. Our CAMs are integral team members who support all of our cabi Stylists, ensuring they have everything they need to serve their clients. They work a lot of magic behind the scenes, so they know all the ins and outs of seasonal style.
They’ve told us their favorite pieces from the Spring 2019 Collection, as well as their favorite summer activities. Spoiler alert: almost everyone is looking forward to enjoying some juicy watermelon, and now that they mention it, so are we! 1.What’s your favorite piece from the Spring 2019 Collection?
My favorite Spring ’19 piece is the Bronco Blouse.
2.What do you love about summer?
Three things I love about summer are açaí bowls, shorts, and warm summer air.
3.What is one activity you love doing in the summer and why?
One activity I love to do in the summer is water ski with friends and family. I love being out in the sun and on the water all day with the people I love.
4.What is one fun thing you’re going to be doing this summer?
This summer, I’ll be going to Florida for the first time with my family. I’m looking forward to exploring and experiencing a new place.

2.What do you love about summer?
I’m a hat girl, so I love a nice sunhat and some sunscreen to go along with it. Lately, I’m loving the Supergoop Unseen SPF 40 Sunscreen. I also love summer bonfires and making s’mores! S’mores are my favorite dessert, and another CAM suggested replacing the Hershey’s chocolate with a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup…talk about a game changer! Definitely try it out at your next bonfire or camping trip, cabi girls.
3.What is one activity you love doing in the summer and why?
One of my favorite summer activities is going to baseball games. Growing up, my dad would always take me, and I’ve loved it ever since I can remember. It’s part nostalgia and part enjoying a good ole hot dog.
4.What is one fun thing you’re going to be doing this summer?
One of my best friends from elementary school is getting married in August! I’m so excited because I’m a bridesmaid, and I’ll get to go back home to Iowa for the weekend.

I love going to Angels games in the summer—it’s a great way to spend time with friends and family while watching America’s favorite pastime!

I love taking my dog, Milo, to the beach and letting him run around!

Running a youth baseball camp with my husband for 900 kids! He’s the Co-Director, and we’ve been helping for five years now!

I’ll be heading down to Palm Springs for a fun girls’ weekend.

2.What do you love about summer?
Liquid highlighter since you don’t need much makeup at all during summer, a straw tote to bring with to the beach and the Farmer’s Market, and a hydrating lip balm to prevent chapped lips when it’s hot and dry
3.What is one activity you love doing in summer and why?
Going to the beach! Being from the Midwest, I feel the need to take full advantage of living just a few steps away from the ocean now.
4.What is one fun thing that you are going to be doing this summer?
I’ve never been to Nashville before, so I’m really looking forward to The Scoop in July! Other than that, I have a few friends and family from back home that will be visiting, so I’m definitely excited to see them in person!

My favorite item is the Twofer Pullover.
2.What do you love about summer?
Summer calls for light makeup! I love wearing Colourpop Super Shock Highlighter in wisp and Buxmon Full-On Plumping Lip Cream in Bellini. Add a little mascara, and you’re good to go! I also enjoy wearing my white bucket hat and eating large amounts of watermelon.
3.What is one activity you love doing in the summer and why?
During the summer, my husband’s family loves to throw BBQs. We’ll invite friends and family over to enjoy awesome food and hang out by the pool.
4.What is one fun thing you’re going to be doing this summer?
I’ll be going to Hawaii with my husband for our friends’ wedding!

I love the Tee Time Skort and the Bishop Cardigan!
2.What do you love about summer?
I always look forward to being able to slip into my favorite pair of jean shorts and a classic white T-shirt. Pair that with a beachy wave hair spray, and I’m ready for those long summer days! I also LOVE all of the fresh fruit and farmer’s markets summer brings…peaches, strawberries, cherries, and watermelons—they’re all my absolute favorites!
3.What is one activity you love doing in the summer and why?
Swimming is one of my all-time favorite summer activities! Growing up so close to the ocean, I spent many summers at beach camps…I can’t resist the water on a warm sunny day. I really enjoy anything outdoors where I can take in the fresh air and sun from camping, riding bikes on the beach, or even a picnic at the park.
4.What is one fun thing you’re going to be doing this summer?
I’m so excited to spend a week hiking and mountain biking in Bend, Oregon with my family this summer.

3.What is one activity you love doing in the summer and why?
My fiancé and I attend Sunday church on the beach. During the summer, we stick around afterward and enjoy the afternoon—soaking up the sun and cooling off in the ocean.
4.What is one fun thing you’re going to be doing this summer?
My parents recently moved to Mesa, AZ. My fiancé and I will be going to visit them and have plans to go tubing down the Salt River.

I love going to outdoor movies in the summer. They have food trucks and music, and it’s a fun way to spend time with friends on the warm summer nights!
4.What is one fun thing you’re going to be doing this summer?
This summer, my friends and I plan to be at the beach every weekend. We love to camp out at the beach during the day and end the night roasting s’mores, listening to music, and just enjoying life together!

My favorite thing about summer is eating ice cream and yummy fruits, like watermelon and pineapple. I also love to wear fun sunglasses!

I don’t have any set plans for the summer yet, but I’m hoping to go on small trips with friends and family!

Summer fruits (peaches, cherries, and raspberries), fun and colorful statement earrings, and hammocks—I’m a nap queen.
3.What is one activity you love doing in the summer and why?
I love spending time at lakes! I grew up with a lake in my hometown, so I’m much more of a “lake girl” than an “ocean girl.”
4.What is one fun thing you’re going to be doing this summer?
Planning for my wedding this September!
