Pumpkin Spice Hot Chocolate Recipe

Are you a pumpkin fan? Skip the coffee shop and make this pumpkin spice hot chocolate at home. This hot chocolate recipe is the perfect treat for children and the non-coffee drinkers of your life.

SERVINGS: 2 servings

TOTAL TIME: 10 minutes 

INGREDIENTS:

1 ½ cups whole milk

1/2 cup canned pumpkin puree

1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

pinch of ground cloves

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Pinch of sea salt

2 ounces of milk chocolate (roughly chopped)

INSTRUCTIONS:

Combine milk, pumpkin puree and spices in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until just simmering.

Remove from heat and add chocolate (reserve some for garnish)

Before serving, top each mug with a generous mound of whipped cream, a few shavings of milk chocolate, and a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon.

Serve immediately.
