It’s no secret that we like to think outside the box here at cabi. From repurposing a skirt as a dress to mixing and matching patterns, the key to our creativity is experimentation. For today’s experiment, we’re looking at the different ways you can wear the same piece through various seasons. Though the weather may be changing, that doesn’t mean your clothes need to as well. All you have to do is add layers for winter, and peel them off for spring. We took our Untamed Dress, featuring an electric blue base with a black and white jungle print and our navy Chance Wide Leg trousers and styled each for winter, spring, and summer. Take a look at our exclusive video below to see these outfits in action!
Though our royal blue Untamed Dress may seem like a spring dress, it offers a darker color palate that is also appropriate for winter. Throw on our Cloak Cardigan for a wrap of warmth, and pair the outfit to black booties, a matching blue belt at the waist, and leather gloves. Don’t forget a wide brim felt hat for added style.

A light jacket is all you need come spring. Try this midi dress with our white Castaway Jacket, which pairs back nicely to the white accents in the print. We love a contrasting print detail, so try a zebra print pump and a cute clutch.
Yes, this dress can be worn alone, too—just add accessories to ramp up your style. We’ve removed all the layers to let the dress shine, so it’s important to remember to accessorize. Throw on a blue strappy sandal for a coordinated touch and add a woven tote bag and a floppy straw hat to protect yourself from the sun.

The Chance Wide Leg pairs perfectly with our black Pursuit Cardigan. For a pop of color, cuff the sleeves and wear the marigold yellow Scene Blouse underneath. Accessorize with a statement belt, a pearl bracelet, and a leopard print felt hat.
Try our navy Chance Jacket featuring asymmetrical zipper detailing and black accents that make it easy to pair back to these wide-leg pants. That’s right—navy and black! The white Float Blouse underneath will give the look a professional finish. Since this outfit features all solid colors, try a snake skin heel for a fun peek of print.
Because of the wide leg, these pants will keep you feeling cool all summer long. Tuck in our floral Stem Blouse, and add a bright strappy sandal for a pop of color. Style tip: try cuffing the pants to really show off your heels. Last but not least, don’t forget a straw hat to keep the sun out of your eyes!
There you have it: three seasons, two base pieces, six chic outfits. Try this yourself by simply picking your favorite base piece, perhaps a skirt or even your go-to jeans—then imagine how you’d style it for winter with layers and warm sweaters.
