make your work from home outfits WORK

April 7, 2020

We know social distancing is far from easy, but look at this as a chance to dive into your closet and get creative with your work from home outfits. Just because you’re staying in, doesn’t mean you can’t look cute! Give yourself the task of picking out your outfit the night before, and most importantly, have fun with it! Getting dressed is something you can look forward to every day.

Now’s a great time to lean into the Wear a Smile trend. The clothes we wear have the power to affect our moods and help motivate our days. Maybe continuing to dress as if you’re going to the office is your way of keeping some normalcy in this uncertain time. It’s been said that sticking to your routine is important…although sleeping in a bit definitely doesn’t count as far as we’re concerned! Perhaps a vibrant hue or funky print is the mood. Or maybe you’re thinking “Boo-yah! Time to whip out all of my stretchiest, coziest pieces.” Whatever your style is, go with what feels good—physically and emotionally!

You’ll want to strike the right balance between relaxed and chic, just in case you have some video calls to take. Wearing your favorite jewelry is a great way to spruce up an athleisure outfit without sacrificing comfort. No video conferences scheduled? Great! Use this time to dress for yourself for once. No dress code, no boundaries…just you and your wardrobe. Throw on that skirt that makes you giddy or that oversized sweater you love.

We reached out to the cabi community to see how you’re all styling your outfits during this time. It’s amazing to see what everyone is putting together and how your closets are such a source of inspiration and light during these trying times. It really goes to show we’re all in this together! Here are some of our favorite looks you shared with us, along with tips for how you can achieve the same look for yourself.

What does your favorite WFH outfit look like? Snap a photo and post it to Instagram using the hashtag #cabiWFH to share it with us, and don’t forget to tag us @cabiclothing. We may be social distancing, but remember, we’re always connected!
