kick your style into high gear with these neutrals for fall!

October 19, 2022

Neutrals for fall don’t mean they’re not full of fall spice (ahem…pumpkin spice, anyone?). Autumn is the season to tap into our senses—the fragrant smells, the blazing colors, the crunch of leaves underfoot, the crisp breeze whipping against your ruddy cheeks. All these elements also ought to be incorporated into your seasonal wardrobe by way of luscious textures, warm, cozy designs, and prints and hues pulled from the nature that surrounds us. Can you tell we love this season?

Inspired by the story of the Fall 2022 Collection, we asked #cabiStylist Kat Miller to show us three ways she’s styling neutrals for fall. Think earth tones, warm hues, animal prints, knit fabrics, and more! Below you’ll find three fierce fall looks, each one complete with professional styling tips—Kat is a pro after all! Take a look at how she’s rocking these outfits. Keep reading to discover all the details that went into each outfit so you too can be all about neutrals this fall.

Pair complementary earth tones together, like a chocolate brown and sandy taupe, to max out on the fall neutral vibes. Then, create texture with your outfit by styling the Cool It Crop with the cozy knit Travel Cape. Lastly, a heeled boot with cropped pants will help balance out proportions and add some height!

Take inspiration from the changing leaves by pairing the Waffle Tee with the Yorkshire Shacket, a quintessentially autumnal palette. Just because you’re styling back to jeans doesn’t mean you can’t dress this look up with the Boss Belt and some edgy ankle booties. We love how Kat cuffed the jacket’s sleeves to show some color at the wrists.

To create the perfect fall color story, you’re going to need The Tunic Dress and the heathered amber Lean Legging. For some expert-level styling, wear the sleeveless Flurry Top under the dress for a pop of print at the collar. Then to finish things off, opt for a belt to define your waist. Pro tip: Fall is the perfect season for a fedora, so go ahead and indulge in this must-have accessory!

Army green, burnt orange, heathered taupe, rich brownsthese neutral additions will not only complete your fall wardrobe, but they’ll tap you into fall neutrals for a particularly stylish autumn.
