When we decided this season’s theme of better together, we knew we needed a truly spectacular Heart of cabi item…one that would be reflective of all we hold dear! Better together is about women supporting women, lifting each other up, and helping each other become their best selves. These themes are ever-present in the cabi business. Women help women build careers and contribute to their family income, all while sharing the gift of style, gathering together with girlfriends, and shopping the latest fashions in the comfort of a close friend’s home.

This season’s Heart of cabi item embodies those ideals. Meet the Tribute Necklace, created in collaboration with The Giving Keys—it’s two simple chains, each with a key pendant embossed with a word—better and together. It’s a message of hope and strength that we hope everyone will carry forward into their lives. And, it’s intended to be paid forward.

Our President & Chief Culture Officer Kimberly Inskeep sat down with the Giving Keys founder, Caitlin Crosby to discuss their mission. We were blown away by Caitlin’s poise, presence, and generosity of spirit. And, we couldn’t be prouder to collaborate with an organization like The Giving Keys for this season’s Heart of cabi item.

The Giving Keys’ mission is to create jobs for individuals transitioning out of homelessness, and to-date, it’s provided 70+ job opportunities, impacting lives through the power of their Pay It Forward community. In fact, each of the keys on our Tribute Necklace was hand-stamped in The Giving Keys’ Los Angeles based warehouse by a person transitioning out of homelessness.

Giving back is an integral part of what we do at cabi. For over a decade, The Heart of cabi Foundation has helped women in need, from distributing clothing in communities affected by natural disasters to empowering women entrepreneurs in the developing world to work their way out of poverty through our W.E. are cabi program. And, this season, a portion of the net proceeds from the Tribute Necklace will help fund The Heart of cabi Foundation’s efforts around the world.
